Loading operations of materials in silo trucks require product control, safe transfer and clean handling, especially when working with dry raw materials. To respond to these requirements, Bilogistik incorporates a new service that automates the loading process from big bags or loose cargo, avoiding dust emissions and reducing operating times.
The system, available as of September 2025 in our facilities in the Port of Bilbao, is designed to be integrated with previous storage and final delivery services, offering a more efficient and safer solution for sectors such as chemicals, refractory and polymers.
How the system works
This solution is based on an automated loading system that transfers dry bulk goods—either in big bags or loose format—directly into silo trucks, manual handling.
Process overview:
➀ The product is poured into a reception hopper
➁ It is conveyed upwards by a screw system
➂ It enters the silo truck via a loading spout that seals to the hatch
Technical highlights:
• Loading capacity: up to 80 m³/hour
• Dust filter to avoid emissions during the operation
• Stainless steel structure for easier cleaning and improved hygiene
• Level sensor to prevent overfilling and ensure a clean process
